places and states is a body of work resulting in a 2006 solo installation in WA, USA which included 75 paintings and printed digital photographs, with a 2 headphone sound station affixed to a wall near a couch / sitting area, where visitors could listen to the DVD soundtrack (approx. 15 minutes) that looped continuously. This work concentrates on and raises questions of essence and inherent quality and character of place, architecture, states of existence, meditation, evolution, time, trauma, and recovery.
